Chickens don’t make good heroes. They are not fearsome or strong and they can barely fly at all.

Norman Strumpvine had never given much thought to chickens. Why would he? All he had ever wanted was a cat.

Norman did not expect a chicken to change his life, but sometimes good things come in strange packages.

THE STRUMPVINES is a 6,400 word children's book.

I hold a B.A. in English Literature from Montana State University. THE STRUMPVINES is my first children's book.
