Not even the Moon (knows what to do
‘Ask the Moon,’ said I.
For the question in his eyes had no answer that I could know.
Purple crescent stone in hand, he went to speak to the Moon.
‘Moon, Moon, please tell me, what do I do?’ cried he.
But the Moon hid her face in darkness, and her light behind the stars.
‘Busy Moon?’ asked I.
‘Busy Moon,’ confirmed he.
Then let us go away and ask the Moon another day.
We will say, ‘Moon, Moon, please tell me, oh what do I do?’
